Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Proven legal experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy.
- Deep knowledge of contract analysis, negotiation, indemnification, and risk allocation.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business risks.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Contractual risk analysis of major construction and infrastructure agreements focusing on risk allocation, indemnification, and insurance terms.
- Support contract negotiations with practical guidance on risk allocation and indemnities.
- Develop insurance strategies and evaluate policy coverages and exclusions.
- Review joint venture, design, and subcontractor agreements for liability and risk allocation.
