Job summary
American Global is seeking a Contractual Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team. You will analyze major construction and infrastructure contracts to assess risk allocation, indemnification, and insurance requirements, guiding clients through complex risk transfer decisions.
Working with legal, insurance, and surety professionals, you will review joint venture, design, and subcontractor agreements; support negotiations; and help develop practical risk management strategies for projects in
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor or equivalent legal qualification.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy contracts.
- Deep knowledge of contract analysis, negotiation, indemnification, and risk allocation.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business terms.
- Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative across disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze major construction and infrastructure agreements with focus on risk allocation, indemnification, and insurance requirements.
- Support clients throughout contract negotiations by identifying exposures and advising on risk allocation and insurance terms.
- Evaluate project risk profiles and develop comprehensive risk management and insurance strategies.
