ABB Inc. is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract management activities within the North America region. You will review commercial terms, support front-end negotiations, and manage change orders, notices, and risks across project execution.

The role emphasizes strong documentation discipline, collaboration with project teams, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. You will participate in weekly meetings, support claims and entitlements, and help maintain audit trails to

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3-7 years of contracts, project management, and commercial roles.
• Familiarity with contract management tools and document control systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills for contractual correspondence.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~20%).
• Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management services within the assigned area per policies.
• Review tender terms and conditions.
• Attend weekly proposal meetings to represent contract management.
• Support front-end negotiations with customers and vendors.
• Verify change order documentation and notices process.
• Attend weekly Project Manager meetings and monthly reviews.
• Assist in preparing claim notifications and documentation.
• Track risk events, scope changes, delays, and dependencies.
• Draft purchase orders and subcontracts with flow-down terms.
• Track subcontractor performance.
