Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager in Indianapolis to lead contract administration, negotiate prime and subconsultant agreements, and support firmwide risk management.

You will collaborate with executives, project managers, and legal advisors to identify contractual risks, ensure compliance, and maintain standardized terms and templates across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in contract administration or contract management.
• Strong working knowledge of contractual language and risk allocation.
• Able to review, interpret complex terms and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with government contracting preferred.
• Certification in contract management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract review, negotiation, and administration for prime and sub-tier government, municipal, and commercial agreements.
• Analyze scopes of services, terms, insurance, and risk factors to guide leadership and project teams.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, letters of commitment, and subconsultant agreements.
• Collaborate with project managers, HR, Accounting, and other departments to ensure compliance.
• Review, format, and edit fee proposals for clarity and consistency.
• Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and standardized terms.
• Support contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to Contracts team and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain accurate contract records and databases.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues.
• Act as primary contact between Contracts department and other units.
• Perform other duties as needed.
