Job summary

KONE Americas is seeking a Contract Specialist to review, analyze, and negotiate high-risk construction, modernization, maintenance, and repair contracts with minimal attorney involvement. This hybrid role covers Lisle IL / Moline IL area and aims to expand Contract Management across the business while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certification, JD, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with high exposure contracts.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and deadline management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess terms and conditions, clarifications and compliance before and during bidding or contracting.
• Research statutory and common law issues relevant to contracts.
• Serve as point of contact for contracts within the Law Department.
• Negotiate insurance and/or bonds per contract term.
