Responsibilities

• Review all deal paperwork for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Verify customer information, vehicle details, pricing, and financing terms.
• Ensure all required documents are properly signed and included.
• Submit contracts to lenders and follow up to ensure timely funding.
• Identify and correct errors in deals before submission.
• Communicate with F&I managers and sales staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Track deal status from submission through funding.
• Maintain organized records of all contracts and deal jackets.
• Ensure compliance with laws including Truth in Lending and dealership policies.

The Contracts Clerk is responsible for reviewing, processing, and finalizing vehicle sales contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance. This role works closely with sales, finance (F&I), and accounting teams to ensure all deals are properly structured and documented according to dealership policies and lender requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Review all deal paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and lender regulations
• Verify customer information, vehicle details, pricing, and financing terms
• Ensure all required documents (contracts, titles, disclosures, etc.) are properly signed and included
• Submit contracts to lenders and follow up to ensure timely funding
• Identify and correct errors in deals before submission
• Communicate with F&I managers and sales staff to resolve discrepancies
• Track deal status from submission through funding
• Maintain organized records of all contracts and deal jackets
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including Truth in Lending, and dealership policies
