Norm Reeves Honda Irvine is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to maintain the dealership's building, electrical systems and machinery, ensuring safety and readiness. The role requires coordinating maintenance tasks and supporting multiple departments on site in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate maintenance on the dealership's building, electrical, and machinery.
• Conduct minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Move furniture, equipment, and vehicles as directed.
• Maintain lighting, displays, and equipment in ready-for-use status.
• Transport equipment to off-site locations and load/unload materials.
• Inspect buildings to confirm safety standards and ensure a safe environment.

Description

Location:Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $25.00 an hour

TheFacilities Maintenance Tech position for Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis in Irvinewill perform and coordinate maintenance, physical appearance, and maintain the working ability of the dealership’s building, electrical, and machinery. Performmiscellaneous errands, assignments, and tasks for all departments as directed.

What you'll do:

• Have a general knowledge of maintenance procedures for mechanical and associated equipment including pumps, fans, pneumatic controls, pressure valves, compressors, air filtration and all other machines.
• Minor troubleshooting and performance of preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and all other related systems.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and vehicles as directed.
• Maintains all light standards, display items, and any other equipment in a ready-for-use status.
• Delivers and picks up equipment to off-site locations and loads/unloads all materials.
• Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards.
• Maintaining and overseeing company grounds and buildings to ensure a safe and functioning environment.

What you'll need:

• Ability to communicate quickly and effectively any issues/solutions/and updates to team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time & stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to handle a full shift of being active and working in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
