Job summary

Husqvarna Group is seeking a Contractor Direct District Sales Manager to drive profitable sales across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, maintaining existing relationships, and growing market share through strategic account management and a strong product focus.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sales, strong knowledge of CRM tools, and willingness to travel 60-75% by car. A BS is preferred, with HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• BS in Business Admin or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience required.
• Overnight travel 60–75% of the time, by car.
• Must reside in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales budget.
• Forecast accurately for the territory and channel.
• Use basket selling to become primary supplier in our categories.
• Maintain market share awareness and competitive position in the territory.
• Build relationships with key customers and decision makers.
• Test tooling and equipment with customers.
• Provide and coordinate technical support and training.
• Conduct business reviews to ensure sales growth results.
• Maintain accurate CRM and manage expenses per guidelines.
• Manage car stock and coordinate inter-department communication.
