Job summary

White Cap in Chicago, IL is seeking an Account Manager to build relationships with mid-size contractor accounts and grow sales. You will develop profitable plans with sales teams, manage quotes and pricing, and ensure outstanding customer service in an on-site role.

This position typically requires 2-5 years of outside sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to operate a company or personal vehicle up to 20% of the week.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience selling to professional contractors.
• Spanish language proficiency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships and develops plans to increase sales for mid-size accounts.
• Generates leads through research, events, networking and vendor activities.
• Develops and executes profitable account plans with sales teams.
• Attains assigned sales quota, margins and controllable expenses.
• Interacts with customers, vendors and associates to resolve issues.
• Maintains current product knowledge and applies it to servicing customers.
• Submits all required sales administration reports and attends meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
