Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Account Manager in Illinois. You will build relationships with mid-size contractor accounts, identify and pursue profitable sales opportunities, and develop business plans with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

You will manage accounts, present pricing and value propositions, and ensure accurate sales administration. This role requires a 2–5 year track record in sales, with a focus on contractors and market research, and may

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of sales experience or related field.
• Outside sales to professional contractors experience preferred.
• Familiarity with White Cap products and services.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships and develops plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts.
• Generates viable sales leads and prospects through market research and events.
• Develops and executes profitable business plans for managing accounts and communicates plans to internal teams.
• Attains assigned sales quota, margins, and controllable expenses.
• Interacts with customers and vendors to resolve issues and service needs.
