Job summary

EvolutionIQ is seeking a technical recruiter to help scale our engineering teams across software, ML, AI, and other specialized roles. You will partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers to craft sourcing strategies, attract top talent, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

You will conduct technical interviews, build pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools, and participate in weekly recruiting meetings while working a flexible hybrid schedule in NYC or Chicago.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical recruiting experience in startup/scaleup environments.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Ability to pitch candidates on opportunities and partner with hiring managers.
• Comfort working independently with management support and a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Attract and hire exceptional technical talent to scale our engineering organization.
• Recruit across Software Engineers, ML Engineers, AI Engineers, and other technical roles.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and hiring managers to understand needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and manage the recruiting process end-to-end.
• Participate in weekly recruiting meetings and conduct multiple technical interviews daily.
• Build a robust pipeline via multiple channels and tools.

Who you are

• 4+ years of technical recruiting experience preferably in startup/scaleup environments
• ATS proficient and savvy in other systems (LinkedIn Recruiter, G-Suite, Slack, etc). Workday experience is a plus
• Pitch and sell candidates on the opportunity. Work directly with hiring managers
• Expertise writing compelling sourcing messages and attracting passive candidates
• Enthusiastic / positive outlook, and a high motor to come in be extremely productive while working independently with team and management support
• Ability to work out on our NYC or Chicago office a couple days/week preferred

What the job involves

• As a Technical Recruiter, you'll play a key role in scaling our engineering organization by attracting and hiring exceptional technical talent
• You'll recruit across a wide range of roles, including Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, AI Engineers, and other specialized technical positions
• You’ll partner closely with engineering leaders and hiring managers to understand their needs, develop creative sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
• This is an exciting opportunity to help build high-performing teams working at the forefront of building AI products for the Insurance space
• Participate in weekly recruiting meetings with hiring managers and stakeholders that demonstrate quantifiable progress in filling roles
• Conduct ~5 technical candidate interviews each day
• Strategically source 50-100+ candidates per week with the goal of achieving a 20%+ response rate
• Utilize resources at your disposal such as: job ads, sourcing tools and LinkedIn Recruiter to build a pipeline of amazing talent
• Contract length will be 3 months to start with potential to be extended
