Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a motivated recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a temporary basis at our Portland, TN distribution center. This 40-hour-per-week role is hybrid, with onsite days after initial training.

• Strong knowledge of using social media to recruit.
• Solid behavioral interviewing experience.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop consultative relationships.
• Robust interpersonal skills with staff and supervisors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies.
• Source candidates using current strategies including social networks and research.
• Develop recruiting materials to attract qualified candidates.
• Prepare requisitions with Compensation and obtain approvals.
• Coordinate a structured interview process and assessments.
• Evaluate candidate responses during interviews.
• Oversee background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment testing.
• Extend offers and manage expectations through closing.
• Track metrics and report recruiting activity and trends.
• Support recruitment research projects to improve processes.
