Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a skilled Recruiter to partner with hiring managers in developing sourcing strategies and executing the end-to-end recruiting process. You will source candidates, manage interviews, and coordinate background checks and offers to fill critical roles across the organization.

You will leverage social networks and behavioral interview techniques, build consultative relationships, and track recruitment metrics to drive improvements while maintaining a strong candidate

Qualifications

  • Extensive recruiting in a fast-growth environment.

  • Strong behavioral interviewing expertise.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Ability to build consultative relationships.

  • Create recruitment materials to attract qualified candidates.
  • Prepare requisitions with Compensation and obtain approvals.
  • Coordinate structured interviews and assessments through hiring.
  • Manage background checks, drug screening and pre-employment testing.
  • Extend offers, negotiate terms, and close candidates.
  • Track metrics and report on recruiting activity and trends.
  • Support research projects and recommend process improvements.

Primary Duties
  • Partner with hiring managers in developing sourcing strategies, suggesting where to find top talent and executing on the strategy.
  • Source candidates utilizing recruitment best practices, incorporateuse of current sourcing strategies including optimization of Search Engines, Social Networks, Recruiting Research, Candidate Generation, Candidate Experience and Relationship Management.
  • Develop recruiting materials designed to attract qualified candidates.
  • Prepare requisitions in partnership with Compensation team and obtain necessary approvals to begin recruiting process.
  • Coordinate a structured interview process to ensure candidates are interviewed, assessments are completed, and candidates are worked through hiring process.
  • Manage support processes for Talent Acquisition: background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment testing, and otherhiring related administrative processes.
  • Make employment recommendations and compile employment offers.
  • Effectively extend offers, manage expectations, overcome objections, and close candidates.
  • Track proposed metrics around recruiting activities.
  • Responsible for reporting on recruiting activity, conducting trend analysis, and making recommendations for change.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection research projects and recommend process changes to increase candidate flow.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to support an innovative, fast-growth environment.
  • Understanding of using social media to recruit.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with behavioral interviewing.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills that preserve relationships.
  • Fullcycle recruiting experience; both technical and non-technical preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop consultative relationships.
  • Robust interpersonal skills with supervisor and staff populations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one location to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, Human Resources preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in fullcycle recruiting #LI-EK1
