Ziply Fiber is seeking a Contract Program Manager to oversee outsourced maintenance and operations for the fiber network. You will serve as the primary contact for I&R, locates, and service-wire vendors, ensuring contract adherence and timely delivery while managing budgets and safety compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in outside plant management, strong vendor relations, and ability to work across teams. On-site presence, with some after-hours coverage and on-call rotation, is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience maintaining outside plant facilities or similar fiber/copper networks.
• Experience managing projects to budget and meeting contract deliverables.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; pivot tables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work across all levels and functions in an organization.
• Knowledge of safety practices and NESC requirements.
• Able to read and interpret Install/Repair documentation.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable; pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsabilités

• Manage procurement and day-to-day performance of Install & Repair, Locates, and Service Wire vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance for contract compliance and applicable codes.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors.
• Inspect field work for quality and timeliness to support customer satisfaction.
• Perform site inspections for safety and quality control.
• Ensure accurate billing and timely payment for services.
• Prepare weekly and ad hoc reports; manage projects within budgets and plans.
• Coordinate with Dispatch/Activity Management on access, badging, and schedules.
• Maintain inventory to support installation demand; participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop training paths for Vendor Partner Managers on Ziply Fiber tools (CXP, NetBox).
