Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead teams responsible for designing scalable fiber networks and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role oversees the engineering design process, manages internal teams and external partners, and drives innovation to deliver construction-ready designs and accurate OSP records.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of progressive experience in fiber network engineering.
• Three years in a leadership/people management capacity.
• Experience with permitting, route planning, and construction-ready deliverables.
• Knowledge of GIS, CAD, asset management systems, and engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end program direction to organize and execute fiber design builds across multiple teams.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers, designers, and support staff to deliver designs on schedule.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to align with standards and timelines.
• Establish and enforce design standards, documentation, and quality control; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Drive process improvements and innovation in design methodologies and tools.
• Coordinate project schedules with contractors, property management, customers, vendors, and government agencies.
