Job summary

GFiber is seeking a Program Management Lead to manage a team of program managers delivering cross‑functional projects spanning engineering, operations, construction, budgets, forecasting and planning. You will ensure schedules are met and drive strategic priorities across multiple work streams while collaborating with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of leadership experience in Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil and Gas or other capital project related industries.
• 5 years of people or vendor management and/or RFx, contract negotiations, scope management.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Management functions to include project initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
• Operate across internal Google Fiber groups and external organizations to ready and implement operational processes.
• Lead process improvements that result in efficiency and efficacy gains throughout deployment and operations in the market(s).
• Execute multiple projects/programs/planning in support of long term success.
• Manage full time employees and delivery of projects through strategic partners/vendors.
