Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist (contract) to support float assignments across Montgomery County, MD. Shifts: 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri, with EOS 8am–12pm. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining documentation. Must have phlebotomy certification and relevant experience; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading laboratory results.
