Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Colonial Heights, VA (onsite). The role involves blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, and strict adherence to lab procedures. You will troubleshoot workflows and participate in training as needed.

Schedule: 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Potential for permanent placement and benefits are available. Minimum qualifications include active phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and properly label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Update patient information and ensure specimen transport integrity.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and prevent labeling errors.
