Your Talent Team in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a contract Phlebotomist with 6 months venipuncture experience for a 3 month project with potential for permanent hire. Schedule: 7:45am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri. Requires phlebotomy certification and ability to work in a fast-paced lab.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures; explains venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Match lab requisition forms to tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature controls.
