Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in fast-paced labs or hospital settings.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and tests orders.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously; ensure specimen integrity for transport.
