Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a Phlebotomist in Oceanside, CA for a contract role with potential for permanency. Schedule includes 6AM–6PM shifts, weekday with possible weekend rotation, 3-month duration with potential extension.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures. Requires phlebotomy certification (state), 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• This job requires valid phlebotomy certification where required by state law.
• Experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and proper labeling of specimens.
• Handle centrifugation, storage and transport of specimens per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Maintain patient information accuracy and update records as required.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
