The contract position lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Typical schedule is 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement; a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED 1-4 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including blood draws and labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol and OSHA/DEP rules.
