The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Glens Falls, NY. Primary duties include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate data under a fast-paced environment.

The position requires strong patient communication and adherence to safety regulations, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent conversion. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with every other Saturday from 7am–12pm.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and properly handle specimens.
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
