Workforce Recruiter in Glens Falls, NY, is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role of 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am–4:30pm; every other Sat 7am–12pm.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, and ensuring specimen integrity following OSHA guidelines. Requires 6 months venipuncture experience and a valid Phlebotomy certification; knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
