Zaddy Solutions in Glens Falls, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with every other Saturday morning shift, and an expected duration of 3 months with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously and demonstrates technique using straight or butterfly needles.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensures correct labeling and handling.
