The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with every other Saturday 7am–12pm. The projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement; requires certification and venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer inquiries and review laboratory results.
