Job summary

Dexian seeks a Payroll Coordinator for a 6-month contract in Santa Monica, CA. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple frequencies for a large, multi-state operation with strict compliance to regulations.

Responsibilities include data audits, HR/payroll reconciliation, garnishment setup, and timely responses to employee inquiries, while maintaining confidentiality and utilizing MS Office and ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing in a multi‑state environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of multi-frequency payrolls.
• Audit and reconciliation of HR and payroll data to identify discrepancies.
• Ensure data is compliant with federal, state and local tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll integration and bank files.
• Set up employee garnishments and respond to related inquiries.
• Provide ad hoc reports to internal customers as required.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with timely, accurate information.
• Keep abreast of payroll related regulations.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
