Job summary

WorkGenius Group is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Santa Monica, CA for a 6-month assignment in the entertainment sector. The role focuses on processing payroll across multiple frequencies and states within a large union environment, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery.

You will audit HR/payroll data, support tax compliance and SOX controls, handle garnishments, and respond to employee inquiries with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong understanding of HR/payroll relationships, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
