Job summary

Preferred Reports seeks experienced Commercial and Personal Lines loss control consultants to conduct interior and exterior inspections as contracted vendors. Inspections are paid per completed order, with weekly payments following satisfactory reports.

Vendors work independently, must own essential equipment, and have reliable transportation. A background check is required; bilingual skills are a plus and may improve opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports; 3–5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Vendors must have a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet; must be detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
