Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Legal Claim Assistant for a 12-month assignment in Plano, TX. You will review and process claims from various sources, and enter data into the legal matter management system to support reporting and case tracking.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to learn in-house applications. Prior insurance exposure is a plus, with opportunities to assist audits and compliance work.

Qualifications

• Word, Excel and MS Office proficiency required.
• Ability to learn in-house applications and perform data entry.
• Strong data interpretation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initial review and processing of claims and notices from various sources.
• Enter all information into the legal matter management system for reporting.
• Perform detailed reviews including incident, defect, vehicle and customer information, and any death/injury/property damage.
• Track all documents for each claim and save into the document management system.
• Assign vehicle inspections and download inspection reports when completed.
• Support audits and comply with TREAD reporting requirements.
