Job summary

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is seeking a Legal Claim Assistant for a 12-month contract in Plano, Texas. The role involves initial review and processing of claims, data entry into the matter management system, and maintaining documentation with an emphasis on accuracy for audits.

The position requires basic MS Word/Excel skills, data entry ability, and organizational discipline. Insurance knowledge and Salesforce exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Word, Excel and common Microsoft applications.
• Data entry.
• Good reasoning skills to interpret data.
• Well organized to handle work volume.

Responsibilities

• Initial review and processing of claims and notices from Toyota’s Brand Engagement Center, insurance companies, attorneys, or other sources.
• Enter all information into the legal matter management system for reporting purposes.
• Review materials for description of the incident, defect allegations, vehicle information, customer information and whether there is an alleged death, injury or property damage.
• Keep track of all documents received for each claim and save them into a document management system.
• Assign vehicle inspections and download inspection reports once completed.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy due to audits and TREAD reporting.
