Job summary

Tokio Marine America is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist II in Plano, TX to screen and thoroughly investigate multi-line/multi-state commercial auto losses, determine liability, identify coverage exposures, and negotiate settlements. Qualifications

• Two years of claims handling experience (automobile preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate settlements timely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Screen and investigate multi-line/multi-state automobile losses to determine liability.
• Identify coverage exposures and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Maintain loss reserves and document all claim activity in the system.
• Coordinate with police reports, ISO filings, and field adjusters as needed.
• Respond promptly to brokers, insureds, claimants, attorneys, and partners.
• Pursue subrogation opportunities and manage total loss processes.
