Job summary

Frontera in Colorado is seeking an IT Operations Manager for a 3-month contract to coordinate day-to-day IT across our clinical and business teams. This is a leadership role; you will own the outsourced MSP relationship and supervise junior IT staff, not fielding tickets yourself.

You will stabilize the environment, drive consistency across multiple sites, and oversee core enterprise apps like Google Workspace, CRM, and CentralReach, ensuring uptime and reliable end-user support.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years IT operations experience with outsourced MSP management.
• Experience coordinating IT across multiple company sites with standardization across locations.
• Proven track record delivering IT projects on time and on budget.
• Ability manage outcomes through vendors and teams rather than doing hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize the current MSP relationship and manage it day-to-day for the contract term.
• Oversee junior IT staff's work rather than personally fielding tickets.
• Support IT operations across multiple company sites, keeping standards and service consistent.
• Oversee infrastructure basics (hardware, software, networks) at an operational level, holding vendors and staff accountable for reliability and uptime.
• Manage core enterprise applications (Google Workspace, CRM, CentralReach) and keep them running smoothly day-to-day.
• Ensure end-user support runs smoothly through your team or vendor, stepping in on escalations rather than being first line.
• Oversee laptop and device provisioning for clinic and staff use.
• Lead IT operational project(s) to completion within the contract window.
• Build clear, effective working relationships across business and clinical teams for the duration of the engagement.
