Job summary

Frontier Direct is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to oversee daily clinic operations across multiple Rio Grande Valley locations, including Brownsville, Weslaco, and Edinburg. The role partners with Medical Directors and HR to ensure staffing, patient flow, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead APPs and MAs, manage scheduling, training, and performance, and travel between sites as needed to maintain quality and ROI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations or clinic management in a leadership role.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Experience managing APPs, MAs, or nurses in a fast-paced clinic setting.
• Proficiency with scheduling, EHR or practice-management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and bridge between company goals and clinical practice.
• Lead APPs and MAs, including hiring, training, scheduling and day-to-day performance.
• Partner with Medical Directors and HR on staffing, retention and development plans.
• Drive clinic excellence in inventory, licensing, credentialing, and patient relations.
• Coordinate with leadership to drive ROI, population health, and care transitions.
