Job summary

FirstService Residential in New Jersey seeks a Community Association Manager to lead a community on behalf of the Board of Directors. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, manage staff, and align activities with the Board's mission and community goals.

You will develop annual budgets, monitor financials, and coordinate with public or private partners to deliver community services. Strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of condominium or HOA laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3 years of property operations or related experience.
• At least 7 years in community management with 4+ years supervising staff.
• Experience leading multi-department organizations.
• Knowledge of Condominium law, financial planning, and property management laws.
• Valid driver's license and state vehicle insurance.
• Pursuit of CPM/PCAM/ARM/AMS or equivalent designation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for short- and long-range plans.
• Review organization structure and roles; advise Board on changes.
• Partner with organizations to provide community services.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, compliance, and staff supervision.
• Monitor monthly financial position and budget adherence.
• Attend Board meetings and prepare reports.
