OPENLANE, headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our in‑house Marketing & Communications team to support content marketing for our AFC finance business and US/Canada marketplaces. You’ll turn complex information into clear, engaging writing grounded in data analytics.

You will build an editorial calendar, apply SEO insights, collaborate across teams, and help manage multi‑stakeholder reviews to ensure brand and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications or advertising.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to analyze data and apply it to content strategy.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, write, proofread and continuously improve high‑quality content assets (blog articles, long‑form content, web copy).
• Build a dynamic editorial calendar for timely, ongoing content creation.
• Apply SEO and data‑driven insights to shape content reach and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team members to measure content performance and impact on goals.
• Help manage a multi‑stakeholder review process ensuring accuracy, brand, and compliance.
• Analyze industry content strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
