Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Manager, Content Acquisition to turn opportunities into signed deals. You will shepherd the process from terms to contract execution, partner with Legal, Finance, Studios, and external partners, and use financial models to evaluate opportunities.

You will manage multiple deals, review complex agreements, and ensure accurate records while driving informed commercial decisions in a flexible, hybrid work environment in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in entertainment, media, digital content, business affairs, content acquisition, or deal operations.
• Understanding of content licensing, production agreements, and commercial considerations in distributing audio or video content.
• Ability to review term sheets and contracts and work with Legal to resolve issues.
• Experience with financial analysis, budget tracking, or financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of original and licensed content deals from terms to final contracts and close.
• Review and coordinate revisions to production, licensing, and talent agreements with Legal.
• Track deal progress, identify issues, and coordinate next steps with internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare deal documentation including term sheets, deal summaries, and stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with Studios, Finance, Advertising, Partnerships, and Legal to resolve commercial questions.
• Support evaluation of new content opportunities through financial models and business cases.
• Monitor content budgets and financial commitments, compare forecasts, and share insights.
• Build relationships with talent representatives, production companies, and rights holders throughout deal execution.
