Key job responsibilities

We’re looking for an analytical Senior Content Acquisition Manager to join our team in LA, supporting team members across the US and EU. The position will lead and support global label licensing negotiations and strategy. Responsibilities include driving complex financial models together with Finance, evaluating the impact of negotiated royalty structures, and proactively performing analytic deep dives across a variety of key performance indicators. This role will also work closely with Legal to structure licensing agreements and review contract language, and work closely with Product Development and Marketing teams on our feature roadmap and go-to-market strategies. The Senior Content Acquisition Manager will have 6+ years of work experience in a content acquisition, business development, financial analyst, or related analytics-focused role.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of entertainment industry deal negotiation experience
• Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions, or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

• J.D., or MBA
• Experience in content negotiation, acquisition or business development
• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development and legal
• Experience at a streaming service or record label
• Familiarity with music licensing models, variable streaming economics, and multi-tiered streaming service offerings

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
