Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld and paint containers and roll-off boxes. Responsibilities include MIG/ ARC welding, plasma cutting, fabrication, and decals installation, with adherence to safety and paperwork requirements.

Ideal candidates have certified welding credentials, 1+ year of welding experience or completion of a welding program, and strong communication skills. The role emphasizes reliability and teamwork in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Certifed welder required.
• Proficient with MIG and ARC welding.
• Experience with airless paint sprayers.
• Comfort with basic hand tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components using brake and shear.
• Cut steel using plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricate components for hoppers, containers and compactors.
• Install lids and wheels on containers and paint repaired containers.
• Follow safety policies and complete required paperwork.
• Install company and safety decals on containers and roll-off boxes.
• Refer complex repairs to Supervisor.
