Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, fabricate, and paint containers and roll-off boxes. The role requires MIG/ARC welding expertise, fabricating with brakes/ Shears, and use of plasma torches. You will install lids and wheels, follow safety rules, and complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified welder with welding experience or completion of a welding program.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG and stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers.
• Familiar with basic hand tools and able to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG/ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components with brake and shear; cut steel with plasma/t torch.
• Install lids and wheels; paint repaired containers; complete required paperwork.
• Refer complex repairs to supervisor; adhere to safety procedures.
