Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, and maintain containers and roll-off boxes at our Cincinnati location. You will MIG/ARC weld steel and aluminum parts, fabricate components with brake and shear, and cut steel with plasma.

Responsibilities include painting, decal installation, and paperwork compliance. The role requires a certified welder with MIG/ARC, plasma cutting, and spray-painting knowledge, plus familiarity with hand tools and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Certified welder.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG & ARC welding, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers.
• Familiar with basic use of hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricates steel components using a brake and shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricates steel components for hoppers, containers and compactors.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired containers.
• Follows safety policies and completes required paperwork.
