Republic Services seeks a skilled Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, paint and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers and boxes in Houston, TX. You will weld steel and aluminum, fabricate components, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires certified welding skills, MIG/ARC experience and the ability to read work orders. The environment emphasizes quality, teamwork and on-site performance in our local facilities.

Qualifications

• Certified welder required.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG & STICK welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components using brake and shear; cut steel with plasma cutter or torch.
• Install lids and wheels on containers; paint repaired containers.
