Job summary
Republic Services in North Carolina seeks a skilled Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, fabricate, and paint containers and roll-off boxes. You will use MIG and ARC welders, plasma cutter, and paint sprayers to restore equipment and ensure safety standards.This role requires certified welder status, 1 year welding experience or completion of a welding program, and the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision. Responsibilities
Repair and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers.
Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
Fabricate steel components using brake and shear; cut steel with plasma cutter or torch.
Fabricate components for hoppers, containers and compactors; install lids and wheels.
Paint repaired containers; follow safety policies and complete required paperwork.
