Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld and maintain roll-off containers and related equipment. The role requires MIG/ARC welding proficiency, plasma cutting, and fabrication of steel components for various containers.

Pneumatic and hand tools will be used alongside paint application. Excellent communication and safety adherence are essential, with documentation and decals applied per company standards.

Qualifications

• Certified welder.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG & ARC welding.
• Familiar with plasma cutter and airless paint sprayers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components; fabricate using brake and shear.
• Cut steel with plasma cutter or torch; fabricate components for hoppers, containers and compactors.
• Install lids and wheels on containers; paint repaired containers.
• Follow safety policies and complete required paperwork.
