Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, paint, and maintain front, rear, and roll-off containers. The role requires MIG/ARC welding, fabrication with brakes, and cutting steel with a plasma cutter. Strong safety adherence and documentation skills are essential.

Minimum 1 year welding experience or completion of a welding program is required. Union position with a hourly wage of $22.18, plus comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience or completion of a welding program.
• Certified welder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Welds with MIG and ARC processes; fabricates components.
• Cuts steel with plasma cutter or torch; uses brake and shear.
• Installs lids and wheels; paints repaired containers.
• Follows safety policies; completes required paperwork.
• Refer complex repairs to supervisor.
