Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Omaha, NE seeks a Consumer Loan Serving Specialist to monitor and manage reconciliation processes for payoffs, payments, invoices, and related products for consumer loans.

You will post payments, reconcile ledgers, and coordinate with 3rd party partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. A background in loan servicing and accounting helps.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of consumer loan payment processing and loan servicing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Understanding of accounting principles, payment systems and regulations.
• Experience with AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance loan servicing general ledgers, including payoffs, payments, and invoices.
• Post payments and payoffs accurately and timely.
• Communicate with 3rd party partners, members, and internal stakeholders via multiple channels.
• Monitor transaction reports and ledgers for reconciliation.
• Document and record transactions in correct accounts; address outages urgently.
• Analyze discrepancies between payments and ledgers and resolve.
• Inform leadership of progress, problems, and issues in payment operations.
• Track variances and recommend process improvements to reduce costs.
• Coordinate with accounting staff to reconcile policy transactions.
• Perform other payment-related duties as assigned.
