CFBank in Columbus, OH seeks a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist to provide administrative and client service support for the Consumer Loan Servicing department.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in consumer lending is strongly preferred.
• Experience with mortgage products and consumer loans is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out administration, maintenance, monitoring, and oversight of various consumer loan products including but not limited to residential mortgages and home equity loans.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage loan quality control items such as lien position, insurance, refinancing, and bankruptcy; ensure proper setup in in-house systems.
• Onboarding and booking of portfolio consumer loans to the core banking system; processing of payments and payoffs; research and issue resolution; maintain high customer service standards.
• Execute escrow disbursements and escrow analysis for taxes and insurance; meet deadlines and correct shortages/overages as needed.
• Monitor various reports including PMI, MIP, and delinquencies for tracking, adjustments and quality control.
• Maintain administration and execution of Freddie Mac loan related functions including annual certification, payoffs, foreclosures, funding, and report monitoring.
• Execute loan processing tasks to maintain QA and compliance with regulations and internal policies; maintain documentation and tracking tools (e.g., Excel).
• Comply with internal security policies and customer confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to regulations, policies and record keeping requirements; complete required training related to bank regulations and policies.
