Mariner Finance is seeking a customer-facing sales professional to join our branch team. You’ll make outbound calls, assess customer needs, and present lending options while guiding applicants through the loan process.

The role emphasizes meeting or exceeding individual and branch goals in a fast-paced consumer finance environment. You’ll engage leads, close deals, and provide accurate information about terms, payments, and required documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a sales position.
• Comfortable making outbound calls, asking questions, and listening carefully.
• Capable of uncovering customer needs and presenting customer solutions.
• Confident engaging warm leads, building rapport, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional during challenging conversations.
• Coachable, accountable, and team-oriented.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to develop business, follow up on opportunities, and support account relationships.
• Support branch growth by meeting or exceeding individual and branch performance goals.
• Build relationships with customers through respectful, solution-focused communication.
• Consult with customers to understand needs and identify lending options.
• Process loan applications and gather required credit, income, and financial information.
• Present loan solutions and available products clearly, confidently, and compliantly.
• Educate customers on loan terms, payment expectations, account requirements, and services.
• Help customers resolve account concerns and stay on track.
• Positively impact customer service, credit quality, and branch profitability.
• Process payments, maintain records, and assist with daily operations.
• Learn Federal, State, and Local laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Maintain a cash drawer and deliver daily deposits as required.
