Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch. You will serve as a key customer contact and consultant, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for equipment and services based on customer needs.

You will specialize in fluid solutions equipment rental and supply, building relationships and delivering outstanding service. You will learn the business, multi-task, and contribute to branch growth by educating customers, processing quotes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
