Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for the Fluid Solutions branch to serve as a key customer contact and consultant. You will recommend solutions, quote, sell and fulfill orders for equipment and services based on customer needs.

The role focuses on fluid solutions equipment rental and supplies, with emphasis on relationship-building and outstanding service. You’ll learn the rental business, process quotations and contracts, educate customers on proper equipment use,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications are preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligent attention to safety.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
• Educate customers about proper equipment use
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets
• Other duties assigned as needed
